US Preclinical Nuclear Imaging University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
The Department of Radiology has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral position in the Preclinical Nuclear Imaging Laboratory, which is equipped with a BioScan NanoSPECT/CT Plus scanner and a Siemens Inveon PET/CT Multimodality Imaging System. We seek a highly motivated individual to work on various cancer and metabolism related projects in small animal models through a broad matrix of collaborations at the three University of Texas System campuses in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex (UT Southwestern, UT Arlington and UT Dallas).
Candidates with a Ph.D. in cell or molecular biology and career interests in molecular imaging are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a Ph.D. in an imaging science area are also encouraged to apply but, must have previous experience in cell and molecular biology. Hands-on experience with live animals, small animal imaging and medical radioisotopes is highly desirable.
