USA Hypoxia Signal Transduction in Mammals University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
One fully funded postdoctoral research position will be available to study hypoxia signal transduction in mammals. This project will use molecular, biochemical, cell culture, and transgenic mouse techniques. Applicants must have a MD, PhD, or equivalent degree with a publication record in internationally recognized journals.
Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in HIF biology, hypoxia or environmental signaling, signal transduction, gene expression analysis, and protein biochemistry. Experience with mass spectrometry and HPLC chromatography sample preparation and analysis is highly desirable.
